Would you tell me that I'm crazy- If I told you of my dream? Just the two of us together- By a sparkling, mountain stream... Exploring our emotions... Letting every thought unwind- Is it duty, or devotion? Will the truth, at last, we find? Could I tell you of my childhood- Let the telling ease the pain? Could we find the vanished innocence- And learn to love again? Could you see beneath the surface- Of a loner with a gun? To the boy who's been hiding... Long desiring love, and fun. Could we walk along together- In the shadows of the trees? Laughing, talking, like two children- In the fragrant, mountain breeze? Oh, this dream that I am telling- Is the best I ever had... Would you tell me now, my darling... Do you think I'm going mad? |
