The accent of your voice

dangles like a puppet

in a Mexicali bar

singing like a mariachi

upon my mind

you hold the passport

to all my affections

crossing

sweltering borders of love

beneath the fiery sombrero

of the sun

whispering in a language

of our own

blushing

like pink flamingos

dancing within our hearts

"If music be the food of love, play on."  (William Shakespeare)
