Strange Waters

He slid a word under her
gently

her bible belt slipped,
undefined sensitivities
peered over the edge
into wonder

allowing her hills and valleys
by inclination
to heave with quake alone

she roamed Missouri
no longer
and Baja sand was not safe
even when in waters
ankle deep

the riptide pulls

even while he holds her
with one more tanned word

and the cocoanut oil
glides with shine

almost as slick as he

A flame burns here indeed.

Thank you.

Strange waters..or treacherous ones... either way nicely done..

Missouri Waters

From gurgling bubble
of hillside spring
to clear bed flow
over mossy stone
it can be cold
or rage in muddy anger
when seasons change

Deca

"He slid a word under her
gently"

Amazing how a word can change perception so easily.

BRAVO!!! This is indeed very powerful, sweet friend, I too could envision New Orleans and the Pacific coast reading this and watching him and her strolling for each other on the beach sands, this is powerful! (big hugggsssss) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is excellent! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
