Hooked

you
cast your
line with such
finesse. Now I’m
in an awful mess
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I’m struggling against the
hook of you. Held enraptured
by  hope  of true.  Fighting  is
no  use  to  me.  I’m   hooked  by
wish  of  certainty. Wriggle  though
I surely do. There’s no release away
from  you. Feel me try to struggle free
Searching  for  my  destiny.  Let  me
swim  away  from this.  Don’t  hold me
captured by your kiss. I know it was
my own fault. I took the bait then
got caught. I swallowed every
little bit. Hung upon your
sparkling wit. Oh
what am I
supposed to do
now I’ve been
lllll hooked by you lllll
lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
Well Marsha,
I knew that if pigs could fly, ham would go up but what happens when fish can fly? as it does in the shapely and spirited poem
Oh, mushy, you are such an apple
No hook for you - I'll use a grapple
I'll show you a reel good time
Instead of bait, I'll use my rhyme.
My rod will bend beneath your weight
But there is no escape from fate
I'll mount you right there on my wall..
A trophy to be seen by all!!!
Well, it looks like he's got you, hook, line and sinker, Marsha.....
but thats because he thinks you are so beautiful and delicious....
I love the words and the shape...
You did this beautifully, Marsha...
