Hot Cup Of My Morning
~*Marge Tindal*~

~
~
  ~
You dip words into the hot cup of my morning
they steep until I am tepid with the brew
Inhale brings me to anticipation's sip
as I savor the aroma of you
A stir of sweet rhyme
morning sublime~

Inspired by the writing of Dark Stranger~

to wrap your hands around the warmth
so gently do you lift
that moment's pause is heavenly
before it reaches your lips...

Delightful thoughts this morning, Marge! *s*

Marge~ I read his poem after I first read this one and now I can see where you're coming from he certainly does have a way of tickling the creative senses with his poetic lines.

Hugs,
~Krista

Your beautiful words & creativity allow me to connect with the same in myself.
Thank you for having the courage to share yourself so that I can too

I wish my words could perk you up
In ways to overflow your cup
With just the right amount of cream
To give your eyes a dreamy gleam
A bit of sugar - not too much
For I can be sweet to the touch
Then, when I have you all alone
We will enjoy our "mountain grown"...

Every morning I wait
In the 8 minute Que....
In the Timmie's drive thru
For my Morning brew...

Tripple sweet and tripple cream,
To wake me from my dream,
As strong as I can handle,
Gotta have my morning Caffine!!!!

Thank you Marge, from one lover of Dark Brew to another... This was a good Cup of Joe.

Sherry

Cherish the good memories past and look forward to the adventure called Tomorrow.
But above all... be kind to yourself today.
