wind dances
with tree arms
entwining whispers
with rustle sounds

a restless ocean
moans under the weight
of her lover sky
she grinds her sandy shore
against erect star ends

night grass
lays open bladed
fresh wet
from the lips of rain
that tongue tip kissed
deep between

we hold hands for a moment
before we become
the sea, the trees
the wet grass
the sigh songs

this makes me think of early mornings at the coast, although mine is norcal, the effect is the same, and the way you spin sensuality into it, is perfect for the feel....you know I'm diggin this one

DS

Soon I am heading to the ocean...this poem makes me so homesick.  Sometimes an hour is a lifetime.  LOL at Victoria...but, she's right.

DS~Ohhh...I love it!  I've never seen a landscape in that way.  My mind still lingers on those images...I must go read it again!   Into my library it goes...
Now quick, send me directions to this place, I could use some of that!

Fabulous...

This is an excellent piece of writing.  You're one of the rare few that can take a moment and make our senses really live it.  I'm so glad that you are a poet

Take care,
