Lease In Life Come what may but understand we all share that same moon And, each of us lie beneath that same sky The only road we separately travel in life Are the ones we choose to keep or allow to pass by... So, on my journey to find an ever gentle path I stood at crossroads unsure of which direction to take With fingers crossed and a deep breath I made my choice And, in the blink of an eye I touched felicity at an angels pace... Life's only a moment within our destiny and we have but one chance To either become that radiant soul or never find our way home I'm blessed with my decision to forever carry undying grace Cause, no one really wants to breathe alone... We have here but such a short lease in life So, let me spend it looking into your eyes Pay no attention to the ghosts who may frown upon us Let's just take the wings we've been granted and fly... Allow me this time to see your face rise within that copper moon Let me be what warms your heart from an awesome chill Let's take pleasure in tasting what we're surely made of And, watch as the earth, the sun, and the wind stands still... Allow me to be whatever any moment may come to mind And, lets become a feather in flight when a breeze takes hold Roam the skies, hand in hand, heart to heart And, forget how it feels to dream in the bitter cold... Lean on me when the weight of the world is around you I'll take pride in being strong in your fall I can take your weight as long as it's against me And, remember we're only leasing life after all...
