My Radio Flyer
By Larry Chadwick

What ever happened to the simple times?
When the biggest risk of getting a ticket,
was being pulled over by a bicycle cop,
for failing to signal while driving my Radio Flyer?

It seems back then
that everything I needed when I moved
could fit in that same Radio Flyer.

And I was always available for hire.
My expenses were low
and my profit was one hundred per cent.

Even my mechanic gave me service
for free…what are dads for?
And when I had a wreck,
even the expenses for damages
were covered…
Band-Aids were always free.

My mileage was always the same
no matter how many people
I hauled.
Even then everybody wanted
to sit in the front.

Come to think of it,
drag racing was even
more fun with my Radio Flyer.

If gas hits three dollars a gallon,
that’s it, I’m getting a Radio Flyer!

(giggles in delight) Oh my gosh, I can truly envision you riding one of those, and drag-racing all those little kids like you own the place! LOL! Well, with where the gasoline prices are going so far, I'd say you'll have one in half a year or so! (smiles) You always are a delight to us all, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Larry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

LOL@Lauren's flying bump!
This is great Larry...
but, I didn't think you were old enough
to remember Radio Flyers.
If you get another...
due to gas prices and all...
will you take this Nancy Lee
for a ride?
