where the sky and horizon meet

0 posted 2002-04-09 11:24 PM

At night I struggle
to fall asleep
my thoughts,
they twist and turn
I used to think
of his arms around me
it gave me something to yearn

I'd remember his warmth
as we made like spoons
seamlessly cupped together
every sigh, every heart-beat
I wanted to stay there forever

Now I lie in bed, alone
no comfort in thinking of him
the darkness closes in and I gasp
sadness felt in every limb

How can the mind
be so unyielding
when the body screams
for sweet release?
How can I face the moonlight
with a heart that
can't be at peace?

Your beautiful words & creativity allow me to connect with the same in myself.
Thank you for having the courage to share yourself so that I can too

(big hugggssssss) Oh Krista, this sounds so very sad, I hope everything is OK, for you deserve the greatest love of all and I want you to be as happy as can be as I know we all wish this for you! (kiss on cheek) We all love you so much, sweet friend, may all your dreams come true and love come shining to your heart to rest close to you at night and wash your tears away! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Krista, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Noah~ Thank you sweet soul for your big hugs and kind wishes.  Sorry for my melancholy write, I will feel better soon.  And I can always find a smile on these pages!

Marge~ It is my favourite too...it's the most comforting place in the world to be.  I hope someday to have it again.
Thank you for the hugs!   Consider yourself *hugged* back.

Larry~ A kindred spirit ...although it's not really for a desirable reason!  Thank you for the squeeze....and I know, "this too shall pass"

Duncan~It is....it really is.  Thank you for understanding
