We are silhouettes
within satiny branches
of a magnolia night
scenting contours
and curves of seduction

Crossing the edge of touch
like reefs of moonlight
touching the body
of the dark
brushed by soft lashes
of ecstasy

You trace the cupid of ruby lips
tracing with fingertips
searching
for sweet taste of rapture

Your tender whispers
swarms my soul
like magnolia
creamy white
inviting velvet eyes
and blossom of your kiss

"If music be the food of love, play on."  (William Shakespeare)

Sweet scented poem, love this.
Now which is better, Magnolias, plumeria or gardenia?
