Sleep falls Heavy upon my eyelids Ribbons of emotions Wrap my heart But do I really Belong here? Amongst the golden Soft, leaves That fall upon The soft ground of my soul Do I? I mean Do I truly deserve Any happiness to befall upon me? When for so long I've been engulfed By pain and treachery At times I admit I'm a good person Yet I throw myself Back down into The eternal spiral Of heartache Lashing out upon My good heart I always tend To wander back To the one place Where I constantly question myself.. Do I honestly belong here? |
