Listening to every heart

0 posted 2002-04-09 02:23 PM

The Sigh That I Heard Yesterday

Extraordinary thing happened
of the sigh I heard just yesterday

people stopped and people listened
they heard the sigh too, they say,

they conjectured, oh they wondered
if something had happened to you

they looked about askance
and inquiries ‘round about flew

to see if there was anything
that they could do for you

and had you known
or perchance had felt

that in their minds
your sigh had dwelt

you would have known
of their concern for you

so do not think you dwell without
for care and interest is all about

so when next you sigh, give kind thought
in realizing the love you've brought.

oh, how I want to know if they did more than notice or ponder, more than care in their hearts...

for the one who sighed would not have to be told then, that they did, for s/he would know by the love they showed

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

(smiles) This is sooooooo beautifully upbeat, sweet friend, I too always sigh just daydreaming of my love Joanna and all my other friends here and that makes me feel so happy inside and I am reminded by how fortunate and lucky I really am! (kiss on cheek) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much, this made me sigh! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karilea, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

I like this very much, Sunshine... what a tender reminder that friends listen... even to what we don't say. *S*
