It's been thirteen years
An unlucky number for some
But as far as I'm concerned
It's the same as twelve plus one

I remember when I first met you
Both of us were rather shy
There were so many other girls
Who could have easily caught your eye

But it was me that you chose
And so very humbled was I
On the day you took my hand
And asked me to be your bride

Our love of music and comedy
So many laughs have we both had
Then so very well you supported me
On the day I lost my Dad

This person I am now
Is also a part of you
My love growing ever stronger
For you there is nothing I wouldn't do

Our lives have been enriched
By this special love we share
My days are so much brighter
When I see how much you care

Through my words I wish you well
As I feel so proud to say
That I'm sending you all my love
On this our very special day

* * * * *

I wrote this for my husband Andrew on this
our 13th wedding anniversary. We have been
together for 18 years and I feel so very
fortunate to have such a loving partner.

Hi Sue!

This is such a loving poem with beautiful examples of loving and caring for all of life, the ups and downs.  May your love and joy in each other continue to grow with each passing day and each passing year.

Lucky Andrew
and you, too, Sue!

Thanks for sharing the beauty in your life!

If all of the men in the world had women
who said this to them...and vice versa...
there would never be another divorce!
