The Stranger

He wrote
freed verse

she paid
his price

he spoke like Sam Elliott
who looked to his Kathryn
for leading ways
his mind strayed

he wanted back his dusty days

he said
opposites attract
and flicked his flame a little higher

she nodded
in assent
then winged her way a little higher

he blushed her along
neither pushed nor pulled
for his words had gently tooled
initials
carved

there

with care

in the gold band
she still
wears

(smiles) I love this, sweet friend, just that thought of envisioning the initials carved on the 24-karat gold made me smile! (kiss on cheek) This is excellent, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friedn, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

That's some purty silver spurs kickin' in!  I reckon he is some kind of wild cowboy riding in that saddle.
