Let me dream of nothing
Sleep is what I need
My soul seeks rest
From the constant reminder
That you’re gone…..

Sounds very much like sleeping alone, which you recently said was not possible.  Do women ever make up their minds?
Sorry, Susan...couldn't resist.  LMAO  (I amuse myself at this hour)

I have been noticing a lot of sadness from you lately...
I am touched by your sharing of such a personal and obviously tender part of yourself.
I hope your heart heals soon.

Ah to sleep perhaps not to dream, that is the inkling. Powerful write.

I've often felt this way and thought exactly these words.  You are a poet, dear friend.   (((hugs)))

Susan,

this aches right off the page hon...
i know just what you mean though...when
the pain of losing that special person
becomes so much, that you just want to
sleep and feel nothing...you express your
feelings so wonderfully, though very sad.

take care.
love ya,
amy

can we dream of nothing??
because, if we dream of nothing,
aren't we still dreaming of something??

thoughts to ponder. . . well done. . .
