Trying not to think On the brink of a breakdown I take down the thoughts as they roll on the page It’s my blank blinking stage To address (or repress) Somewhat free All the problems That I come to see I AM ME You approve? Well then move Here I come Way too long I’ve felt wrong For the things That you’ve done But that’s all in the past I will last Through tonight And I’ll wake up tomorrow With everything right Cause my choice Has been made Cards are laid On the table With aces in sleeve I sit ready and able To ante up big Whether you call or not Playing Kings over queens Now show me what you got |
