Listening to every heart

Morning Prayer

On the rise of slope I stand
Morning dew greets my lips
To the north I face the land
On the right I lift my hand
Encompassing the rise of sun
On the left I lift my hand
Full moon sits in my palm
All is calm, all is calm.

“O Great Father
Earth below my feet
Sun held in my right hand
Moon rests in my left hand
For all that you have given
This world
For your people
Know that I thank you.”

On the rise of slope I stand
Morning dew greets my lips
To the north I face the land
On the right I lift my hand
Encompassing the rise of sun
On the left I lift my hand
Full moon sits in my palm
All is calm, all is calm.
....
...
..
.

Aw, now. This IS peace. I could see the image of the sun worshipper--you captured the calm perfectly! No graphics needed with this. I SAW.

Karilea, I could 'hear' the silence and 'feel' the calm here.
Wonderful morning prayer...very uplifting!

People should have to memorize this prayer, and say it each morning.

Sunshine, you inspire me with your prayer. I must answer with a few whispers of my own.

There

I am there
I feel her morning prayer
Radiating
Satiating
The air
I am there.

She is heard
God listens to her word
Radiating
Satiating
God hears her prayer
I am there.

There.

(smiles) This is a wonderfully spiritual poem, sweet friend, I saw the rise of the sun symbolic to a new day with so much promises to behold and the moon like a mysterios smile that will always bask upon us with His blanket of loves light! (sigh) This is such a beautiufl prayer, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karilea, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Something drew me to this..Call me crazy..but judging by the date you included, you did write it on my birthday two years ago?..It is heart speak and vision..You are wonderful.

Sincerely,
Regina

Did I ever tell you I love it best when you radiate that internal sunshine?
