Listening to every heart

0 posted 2002-04-07 07:16 PM

What can I say to you
that isn’t already in your heart

that isn’t already known in your soul,

isn’t already carried in your hands
to give away

When you have the answers
but still ask the questions

what can I say

but thank you for your trust

So many think trust is their right... you recognize it for the gift it is... which means you appreciate the fragility of such a gift. *S* This is beautiful, Sunshine... I like it very much!

I'm new here but must say I'm left wanting with this. Fisrt, I would demand a question mark somewhere in the poem, as it is a question. The answer to these questions seems to be 'nothing'.

I suggest concrete details, instances of the abstractions you mention.

Dear Karilea, this is so thought evoking, words so intence that the heart feels the ache and the soul the emotion.
A thankyou as this is as much a gift as a gesture.

Great write Karilea, much enjoyed.

Sincerely Rick
