Smiling Reply Each of those who reply to me Who leave their name on my poetry I smile and breathe a soft thank you As I read the comments left by you My friends who reach out to me With words of friendships charity They fill me with a gentle glow With softest love the words do flow Each one I hold inside of me A special part for times eternity But sometimes I smile a bigger grin Or feel deeper warmth flush my skin This delight that floods through me Is caused by such simplicity I only have to see your name To hear again your soul’s refrain A friend indeed you are to me Whose smile I enjoy delightedly I thank you each and every one And YOU for all you’ve ever done Marsha To give light to them that sit in darkness..... to guide our feet into the way of peace Luke 2:79 |
