A lone rider crosses the wilderness
In search of a vision from sleep
Along a path winding, so endless
in thoughts treasured and so deep.

A kiss in dreams, a touch not felt
A beauty in mind, of softest skin
In rest, beside her he had knelt
lightly touching, her heart within

The ride long, the perils to find
The heart strong, to hold and see
A moment of bliss, only in mind
Yearning, wanting, hoping to be.

Left to the wandering, endless trek
Shedding a tear, if only just one.
Wiping the eyes from sands speck
Wandering, beneath heat of sun.

Come from the vision to once see
the beauty so rare, so precious be
Let the heart of two souls ‘gain beat
entwined eternal, till once will meet

Magnus darling boy oh my stars this is utterly utterly one of your best ever. This flows like liquid honey, sweet and as smooth as silk. Truly awesome writing, you never disappoint the reader darling boy, and this reader, in particular is always delighted by all you write. Even if it’s quality is immeasurably superior to my own I forgive you for being such a fine writer.

Muse problems darling boy, how could your muse dessert you? You’d never know darling boy not in a million years, this is excellent
