and wrapped around my dreams
dancng our last dance

A wondrous image with a painful sadness at the end...in some ways, that parting could be a release to be who you are meant to be..yet, it felt like loss to me.

This gripped my heart with gladness and then sadness.

Was that your intent?

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

How sweet and sad a dream.  Last night I dreamed the cat got sucked up in the vacuum.  No poetry there!  LMAO

Ah, this is exactly perfect. I have these dreams often, and it is such a shame to wake up and look at the way it really is.

enter my soul,

Amy~ I could have danced all night,
on the other hand I should be greatful for the extra hour.
Thanks Amy~

VAS~ My dream just happened that way,
and yes, it made me very happy and then it suddenly ended.
At that point I figured it was time to get out of bed.     Thanks.

Duncan~   You're a riot Duncan.  In this case I'm glad to know it was only a dream, and I'll bet your cat is pretty happy about that too.
Thanks for the laugh~

Noah~There is no controlling our dreams,
I kind of like where they take me,  after all, it's the thrill of them all.   Thanks~

Sandra~  Dreams are an escape without having to pay for them,
but it is hard when they end and reality sets in.  Thanks Sandra

Nancy~ Thank you for understanding, I was obviously caught up in the aftermath.   You're so sweet Nancy~

James~  Good for you, it's a whole lot better to share our dreams with someone.  Thanks for sharing your happiness.

Mark~ I really appreciate your poetic reply, that was awful nice of you.
Thanks.

Magnus~  Yes I am going to bed early tonight just to give it some time.
You never know, it might get even better.       Thanks

Dee~ Isn't that the truth!  I have closed my eyes and tried to get it back before but it's not the same, it's like forcing it and that takes all the spontaneity out of a good dream.  Nice to see you Dee and thank you~

Lauren~  It really sucks huh?  At that point I want to pull the covers over my head and make the world go away.  *hugs* Lauren~

BC~ That was nice of you to say, but I must confess, I'm really not a very good dancer.

Ivy Rose~  It was short and oh so sweet!  Thank you so much for reading.

Floria~ I think he just likes to watch me toss and turn, or keep me spinning!
I've no illusions but I am such a dreamer!!
The truth is I would be lost without them.
Thank you Floria dear~
