in poetry

not every line should be “Ka-Pow!”

we need the ebb and flow
of love
of ideas
of pleasure
of visions

otherwise
we’ll only end up feeling
Punch Drunk!
and black and blue

true?

(giggles in delight) Yep yep yep, and the magic of poetry is that we can always connect words and have them flow just this way to creatively getting to that final KA-POW! (smiles) This is a wonderful way of looking at poetry, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Virginia, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

I think every word should be ka-pow...actually we all have our own unique way of sharing the thoughts from within...poetry seems to reveal our desires and priorities...James

ahh hah! So you mean every line and every letter doesn't have to be a marker for brilliance? No wonder I have a headache. LOL!

Loved this little statement.

How grave is my condition, for I cannot find the words to say, I need you so.

VAS,

geesh, i don't know..it's hard to just let myself go and write...words have so many meanings and i am always searching for the right words that can express how i feel best...

when i look at my earlier writings, i cringe in horror at how pretentious and wordy and dramatic my words were...i think the thought of being an aspiring poet just went to my head...LOL
