OK, I have a question for you bona-fide techie geeks (of whom I am very envious -- so don't take it personally).

OK, dumb question #1: If a chip is supposed to be 200MHz, why would it only be showing 149 when we check the system settings? The chip is an AMD on the original motherboard, and the BIOS is set to 200.

Can you be more specific....Or can you rephrase the question? Are you talking about system properties under device manager? Where did you see it again?
