Has anyone noticed that I'm about the only posting in here? Either that means I'm really curious, or everyone else is just a whole lot smarter!

Hopefully, with the upcoming updates, we'll find more people interested in this portion of our forums!

My query:

I've been wondering about how to structure the program I'm working on. I've looked through the various ones I've taken from the Net and found no set manner of doing it, nor no obvious benefits / detriments to either way.

Specifically speaking - Is it better to have one program to cover the entirety of a process, or have multiple programs, called on in various statements, case dependant.

For example, one of the programs I've downloaded is for the "subscribe" portion, for my newsletter. It is a single program that holds everything from the code required to process and write the email addresses, to the code for the admin portion. Now, this is still a relatively small program (one I'll change later because it doesn't do what I'd really like anyway). Others, greeting card one, for example, has two files - one for the variables and one for the actual script.

This is the same for others I've found. How can I determine which would be the best for me?
