The Poet

His words -
Cool balm on a raw buring wound,
Hot water to soothe aching muscles,
Soft slippers under weary feet,
A firm bed to support a tired back.
Your mother's hand on your head,
Your love's hand on your heart,
Your child's laughter in your ears,
Your lord's song in your soul -
The Poet.

(burning)

Yes, all these things and more wrapped up into one gift...the Poet.

Well said, majnu...I enjoyed this.
