I believe in Love...
the epitome of insanity
Expecting the impossible
hoping for my myths

Whenever I find happiness
I wake up alone
and insomnia returns
awaiting the elusive dream

I've experienced Heaven
only to find it's not eternal
instead a rest stop
on my journey through Hell

I chase rainbows...
I chase windmills...
I chase love...
Convinced they exist

. . . all that we see is but a dream within a dream  . . .

Sure they exist! Maybe you are so busy chasing them....you have frightened them into hiding.   Good write and welcome to the Passions family!! Have fun. Chris

that perches in the soul....

dreambuilder,
firstly Welcome to Passions, it will be good to see more of your work. Secondly love like many other myths will only come when we stop chasing and stand still. A bit like the butterfly that alights when we least expect it. I like your style and your words.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

"Expecting the impossible
hoping for my myths"

yes, 'tis the very stuff that dreams are made of, dreambuilder.

unparalleled in a class of literature this original work lies - as unparalleled as your writing does here:

I chase rainbows . .
I chase windmills . . .
I chase Love . . .
convinced they exist

Nice entrance - Welcome to PIP!

Been waiting for you to post, these lines:

I've experienced Heaven
only to find it's not eternal
instead a rest stop
on my journey through Hell

define life, as I've lived it
