The Sum of Plumb

Life is quick and full of wane
It flicks the earth like drops of rain.
Flows within a garden green
Exits down within the scene.

A waste of time to dwell on this
Like the essence of a kiss
A fleeting sense a quick dispense
And there you are past and hence

But ego justifies the scene
Glorifies the tender glean
Sets a trumpet up to blare
To magnify that you were there.

And so you were a spot of be
A raindrop dropping in the sea
Joining in the living rhyme
A drop of sand in falling time

Yet eons echo in the come
Who can say the last of plumb?

Love these philosophical thoughts of yours .... life here is like a lightning, but I do believe it goes on elsewhere .... neither plumb nor gold will last forever though ....

Thou art the plumb sum & sigh of my poetic pie ...
thy rhymes divine write thou name 'cross my sky.
Thine cadence is my magic carpet ride ...
carry me to Eden via verse on thy wisdom's tide.

  forgive the tired rhymes..
