Involuntary hope
a muscle memory
of faith severed

Will atrophied
lies upon cold slate
as last breath drags

Eyes close to
last rites read

No room for reverie
in the catacomb

I do know that cold slate
but memories cease to leave me
even the haunting ones
excellent writing
I know this well

With your poetry, you push past the parameters of normal perceptions. Glimpses into your world always intrigue this reader.
