withour shame.

He the conquerer;
the sadisctic vanquisher.
Moronic delusions
of limitless strength
growing,
with every beating.

She the conquered;
self respect slaughtered,
Idyllic dreams
becoming horrible, recurring
nightmares. Repeating...
Repeating.

Gone is the light
that glowed behind
her once beautiful eyes.
Now replaced
by the utter darkness
of pain; hurt,
born of abuse, misuse,
and lies.

Twisted and sick;
His reasons.
Battering, beating,
in the name of love?
But where is the love?
What lover beats the loved?

Beaneath the bluster,
Hiding behind the lie
of love,

hatred
of the misogynist.
