He said soft to she
She listened so intently
Intently for he.

He
With wild in blue eyes
Rushing through many surprise
Wind blown curls that flies
Riding through to his reprise.

She
Watches in daylight
Beneath canopy of white
Till the time of night
When retires out of sight.

Thee will always be
Being ever from the you
You lonely are thee

Thee
In thou great beauty
Feeling the thought will always be
In thy memory
In your waiting fantasy.

Gloom

Professor,

I so appreciate you taking the time to explain...Unlike ~M~, I seriously doubt I could write like this and that is also why I so appreciate your talent and sharing it here, with us.

Thank you, enjoyed,

Hugs, Pat

And here, I was taking the word
religiously...

but after reading your poem...
it does seem right, after all...

thank you, professor.  I shall continue
to read, and learn...

Well written Professor!

Never heard of that style, interesting...

“Death, so called, is a thing which makes men weep, and yet a third of life is passed in sleep.” -Lord Byron
