Sometimes the sky
fills the skin like ground of leaves
pungent memories
and song just love her into ear
dear lips then sing me into light
cannot touch the fragile skin so loved
with tender enough delight

Wrapped then in painter man's watch
the corner of his eye delight
the caress a must of spring and all all
like open doors and summer more and more it seems
this spring brings lift and pinch back flower
to laying back in bower’s long forgotten dream

So catch me now you can this up me fill
like buttercup of old gone splendid sudden young
and even turning down the day
a bold blue moves me in just right way
and all the pretty pieces rock me
until the fragile glass melts into stay

There's love in this, and more -- everything left to the imagination, and nothing, in this interlude. Once again, Martie works her magic, and brings us along for the ride.

Thank you for sharing.

Martie, this is so beautiful.
You, my friend, are a painter.....
a painter of words.

that verse ALONE is poectic GOLD ...
all I could do is smile when reading this gem of pen.

like buttercup of old gone splendid sudden young

and its lines like that one, that is pure Martie poetry on high and the rest of us can only take delight in your flight.

Oh so beautiful Martie!
I especially love the last stanza..
made me feel like running outside barefoot
twiling and twiling myself into a Spring dither.
Love this!!
