All the angles in the world
do not add up to the whole of the universe,
the hole of existence that swallows humanity between
split dimensions of thought and time and
unreasonable expectations for Peace
lying flat on the mind as if
there never could be a 3D perspective
as long as Unilateral thinking prevails.
Don’t try to figure this one out.
No protractor or compass on earth can measure these
thoughts in mere mental degrees,
longitude and latitude are overlapping
converging, resulting in chaos
because of our ignorance, our ineptness,
our blindness, our stupidity in believing
We rule.
You say this is pure nonsense?
It doesn’t follow any rules or parameters
of logical thinking, it isn't even a proper way to present the problem, to seek a solution?
Perhaps.
But the longer I read the deeds of Man’s
past endeavors,
tempered by the visuals and sounds
of the present day,
the less I perceive a Future.
We are not exponentially
expanding our collective intelligent brainwaves,
nor deepening our global heart’s capacity
to safely contain the totality of humanity.

Therefore, I’ll leave it all
to my concept of God,
for he alone must have the answer to
the solution for the Problems Mankind presents.

Somewhere there must be an ultimate
Mathematician,
Tactician,
Dreamer,
Creator,
Nurturer,
Healer,
Judge,
Jury,
Executioner.

The answer cannot be
You Or Me.

Aye...I have to leave it to
Him myself...

and whatever His plan is,
I hope he continues to allow us to look
for it for years to come ....

Kacy,
And He has a plan...

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

There is indeed someone very special who has figured it all out. And ours is not to question His ways; for they are not the ways of this world.

Enjoyed this very much ... hugs for peace, Marti

you write good! deep shocker thoughts carried across in gorgeous vocabulary..what more can a reader ask for?

We are not exponentially
expanding our collective intelligent brainwaves,
nor deepening our global heart’s capacity
to safely contain the totality of humanity.

dig this stanza a lot...i liked the way you put it and the choice of words..."collective" and "totality" means more than what they say--it hints at our selfish modern attitudes

in my library this goes
