In Your Poetic Mind

0 posted 2003-04-05 08:03 PM

   Walking through stillness
with my  steps 'strumming' signatures
in  cool earth

unbroken landscapes

veined by rivers
    vibrant at their edges

blind passionate path
   of my {reclaiming}

If I go back in memory
    touch everything lightly
so my fingers run the edges
of windowsills
to hold {once} only  what   may
disappear      tenderly

   slidingindarkness
where dancing goes on   endlessly in
{laughter}

Would the heart of my nakedness
       soft
en

holding on         spinning in wholeness

everything is falling      {I am }

   waiting outside of time
while the night collects
patterns of voices

Silence is here
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Through the darkness
I can see your light
And you will always shine
And I can feel your heart in mine
I will remember you
For some reason it makes me feel like walking in the woods at night and feeling the patterns of the evening spin past experiences through my mind....Well written to give me such a strong vision and feeling. Thank you...
I clicked in to this when you first posted, but I am sure by now, [because of an interruption] there are many responses....
all I know is...
you make us feel, Lauren...you bring us in to your poems, sometimes leaving us giddy...sometimes, just sighing.
I try very hard anymore, to just respond to a poem without looking at the other responses....
but if I have reiterated what others said...
please know that I didn't look first...this just comes from the heart...
from one wanna be poet, to a poet personified...OK?
(smiles) Oh Lauren, this is beautiful, sweet friend, your poetry always has a way of cpatoivating us all, as gentle as a young fawn drinking from the riverbed in the spring, and the way you spin colors across the waters in your words always enthralls us all, I don't think we can ever say exactly how much your imagery spellbinds us, yay! (kiss on cheek) God Bless You, sweet friend, I love this, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lauren, thank you for sharing!
May love and light always shine upon you!
Love,
You write so beautifully that I'm with Enchantress, there are times I'm left with nothing to say.
You walk the path of my heart and take me back Lauren, and I thank you for your poetry.
It rests in me, peacefully~
Only you know what this is, in its fullest.
The rest of can only admire the surface.
And on the surface, this is fine
