“Why?” he whispers...
As a delicate ear turns
against the softened lie.

As a heartbeat lingers upon
the touch of a fingers trace
over soft and delicate lips.

As tresses fall upon the
cascade of a silken highway
to eternal shivers of a
moment.

Oh but to taste the wine of
a moon’s beam flowing
a babbling brook.

To take the glow into the
palm of one’s hand and
smell the freshness of
a morning’s dew.

Yes.....why........

Indeed he whispers as he blows the question softly into her ear. Gently said from a master of the heart....hi there, my friend.

Oh, Magnanimous One--you have been sorely missed!!!!
Hope you are well and that you will be
sticking around for awhile!---a loooooong while!

From reading this poem, it appears to me that you are still in fine poetic form and you haven't lost your sensual touch!

Lovin' hugs,

Barry,

Wonderful to read you again. I thought everything which could has been written about the moon. But, leave it to you to come up with unique imagery of such a common sight.

I love this poem...and this:

"Oh but to taste the wine of
a moon's beam flowing
a babbling brook"

oh my, how great is that!!!

Glad to see you back. Hugs, Pat
