Reflections Of The Moon

There she is...than gone...vanished
magic reflections of the moon
captured her for just an instant
Then swallowed...by waves... banished

Once carefree...shining...promoting
among starlight walking, freely
with great words from her pen, spilling
To poets...all time...devoting

Words her tool...heart said...amazing
spinning vowels into singing webs
single threads of soul’s purity
The Meadow...sang loud...appraising

Here she was...not long...eternal
knowing hearts feel her presence still
as we capture words on paper
Memories...kept safely...internal

Startime

Welcome Startime! You certainly couldn't go wrong posting a poem about the moon! As you will discover, many of we Pipsters are mad about the moon! ---and your lovely poem about her was a "brilliant" selection!

Thoroughly enjoyed reading this delightful first post of yours!!!

Warm welcoming hugs,

Hello Startime,
I'm Ethel, and I came here while you were gone. It sounds like you have a lot of friends here to welcome you back. That's really good. I hope that you'll be able to stay. I really enjoyed your poem and hope to be seeing more of your poetry.

And, this is a very good book submission. You have my vote.
Hugs,
Ethel/garysgirl
