Thank goodness it's Saturday, time to relax
The week is wrapped up, throw it out in the trash
The first cup of coffee tastes like heaven's brew
So, enjoy peaceful moments...you've earned quite a few!

All week you were captive to problems at work
And sometimes your boss was a regular jerk!
But now it is Saturday...you're home and free
A day just for you, what you choose it to be...

So, finish your coffee, then shower and dress
It's an 'anything goes' kind of day, more or less
The world is your oyster, and time is to take
Thank goodness it's Saturday...you needed a break!
