It's the little things that count
like copper pennies in a well
a wish is just a wish
unlike the giving of ourselves.

We can hold our breath on high
and shade the sunlight from our eyes
we can dream a little dream
but we can't save our place in heaven.

The days will come and go
but what a difference they have made
grateful for this time
and the sharing of our souls.
