Beneath the shadows of the moon, I wished upon night's sea.
Stretching towards the heavens, stepped I, into world of Thee.
I laid this head 'pon pillowed thoughts, to dream and touch thy soul.
The beating of mine heart was raised, its rhythm lost control.

Dreamt I, in the nightfall, of thine eyes that shine their blue.
If one glance was all it took, this heart fell in their hue.
You've stolen mine, it's in thy keep, forever in thine hold.
Treasured are these words I seek, as day begins its fold.

You've tasked him one too many, as the days drone on and on.
Father's wish uncounted now, it's I who needs thy pawn.
A guarantee, a pledge of love, this Lady wishes for,
To lift me when e'er the morn has come, each day of evermore.

She waits for thee, this Lady, mine, pens for all to see
Her Knight of blue, has chiseled heart of hers in wait of Thee.

Lady O

Lady Ollyne,
This reads just like the classical
poems of old. You have so much talent,
dear Lady.

Oh my gosh.....I had forgotten how the magic of your words always had a way of melting my heart and sending me into fantasy land....so incredibly good to read the beauty of your words again.

(sigh) Oh Maureen, this is lovely, sweet friend, Lady Olynne truly has the classic spirit in her heart and poetry and her knight shall come and sweep her off her feet and onto the white sterling of love! (kiss on cheek) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Maureen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Lady Ollyne is resting tonight but left me with words of thanks for all of you who have responded

It's been fun writing as different personalties. But it's hard to be the Lady Ollyne when she rarely has her knight responding...so if in the future anyone wishes to be her Knight she will show her gratitude in poetic thank you's.

The M I've always longed to see and love to read! Awesome. What a journey from there to here. You're the best. In the book it must be...

Chanson, thank you

Thank you Larry, some days I  am just like the Lady, living in my own castle and in my own world..sometimes it beats the real thing

Tim, thank you. Glad you enjoy her...I am her every late summer at the MD Renaissance Festival for abut 8 weeks. Such a fantasy land that becomes an adult playground.

hugs to all

Karlea, thank you. Some days I confuse myself. I originally wanted to post it in the Lady's name but you know those personalities sometimes pull a fast one on you and the strongest survives the moment.

Truthfully I previewed it and it always goes back to nakdthoughts and I forgot to check it again.. so she won out this time
