would that there be but only one
       word for this shade
              of melanchol I feel
but, alas, there are too many
       and yet, not one will
              ever match the feeling I
had as I watched a leaf
              fall from a tree
                     to the ground
a single leaf
       (indeed, not the first)
that fell to the ground in a
       plaintive, almost understanding
              way
as if it knew its time had come
       twisting and twirling in an
              unheard eddy of a
                     September breeze that
chilled the soul of this warm day

as if it knew that it must end
that it must end to continue
that it must join those who have gone
to make way for those who will come

yes, there are words for this feeling
          of my soul
words that will yet come from
          this heart and this pen

but not today

(big hugggsssssssss) Oh Sven, when I was a little boy autumn always made me cry too because it reminded me of death and emptiness and seeing all the flowers wither broke my heart too! (wipes tears) Autumn still kind of brings me down nowadays but know He has a reason for each season and the leaves are never lifeless, just sleeping, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sven, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

When DID they let YOU out?

Lovely poem from you, Sweet Man. Pretty please post more often?
