Do you remember us
sitting in the sand,
wavelets caressing our toes
watching the wings
of far off sailboats
chasing the wind?

Can you remember
Hermit crabs
crawling across feet
as the sun painted
masterpieces across the sky
while we watched spellbound

I remember hugging you
and feeling what back then
I could not put words to:
the intense, protective love
of five year old big brother
for three year old tyke

smile down on me
if you recall
and let the sun shine
a little brighter
warming this cold heart,
the heart missing you.

This is really a nice poem about you and your little brother. A challenge well met, too.
Thank you for sharing it.

You wrote a lovely and heart-warming poem from Rosepetal's photo of the two little boys at oceanside. You rose to the challenge in a very fine manner!

Thank you all most kindly. Enjoyed doing this. I have never written anything on account of a challenge before so I guess it was ok for a first attempt.

I have a space right after the < bracket... make sure you delete that, the html can have NO spaces in it.. and it should work just fine
