Sighs Slip By

the last time
we spoke
I wanted
to say
do you ever
think of me
and if
I am
someone
you miss
but the words
stuck in
my throat
and I guess
some things
can not
slip through
our lips

Isn't that the truth....Your poem made me remember that fear rules more than we care to admit!!!!

I understand this one.

It's a question I wonder of often, but have never asked, preferring not to know, than to hear the answer I fear.

You write the heart of many. Hugs.

Helen, I've also been there before...
wanting to ask, but being afraid of the
answer.

Funny how easy the stupid crap is to say, or the things that get us into trouble, whereas the things we truly need to know..ah forget it loved this
