Seven
Then, fourteen men
Fathers and sons deployed
National Guard from Kentucky
All, brave men willing to serve their Country
From same military unit
Seven pair of Soldiers
All go to war

some day I will try one of these.

My husband stopped by last night to tell me that someone from his division (333rd Marines)during the VietNam war contacted him
out of the blue...

Memories good and bad are being raised.

There is a strong undertone of sadness, even though it suggests courage and valour.
Well done, dear Ethel.

Maureen, this seems a lot like the
Vietnam War to me for some reason.
I'm worried about how many lives are
going to be lost. But, all we can do
is pray.

Ethel

Mrgherita, you read me very well. Yes
I was thinking about the families of thes
men if both Father and Son lost their lives. I appreciate you reading the sadness
in this. I am really hurt when there is war.
I hate destruction and love peace.
Heart Hugs,
Ethel
