Turning Away

She turns her face away from her lord,
They have spent the day blissfully,
In each of her turns there is longing -
The joy of farther reaching repeated,
His eyes are ever upon her shimmering form -
But night is come and she rests sometime,
His thoughts can never leave her be,
And he makes her janus like - illuminating,
So they have gone on, and so they will go on,
While we, short-lived denizens of her breast,
Wander to and fro finding new ways to rejoice,
Always soaking their grace.
