Words which cut
deep to my soul
bleed the energy
from my being.

Pain that is real
inflicted by letters
composed in malice
to bring grief and sadness.

Tears that are shed
for memories of happiness
days of fulfillment
now gone forever.

I long for relief
and a touch of coolness
to put out the embers
that burn deep inside.

Cruel intentions
harden my resolve
to one day find
a compassionate soul
to begin
the healing.

Thank you so much all for yor kind words and support. Yes we all have our moments in life where the world seems to come to an end but with hope and especially support of those that care for us we will find the strength to heal.
