In Your Poetic Mind

   {From the Notebook}
~*~*~*~
Here in dark-- mid winter'
      the ocean meets  horizons
another     instance of embrace
  stars falling    single color  {water and sky}

I need to touch that point of reflection
                    drenched sweet

how sometimes   the taste of you
     reminds my lips      of flavors   {love}

I walk often on the       edge of myself

between earth and heaven        in

     sil
ent path --

clouds behind me dancing

s t r e t c h i n g theneverending l i n e
      shadows slide from the sky

   remembering as

he whispered
   you are my  salvation

in quiet       voice
~~~~~~~~~
I close my eyes and there in the shadows I see your light
You come to me out of my dreams
Across the night
So quietly, in a whispered breath, hearing the word LOVE within these shadows.
beautifully done, Lauren
When I read you...I feel a peace that I rarely ever touch.....its like I breathe from a lighter place ...
its one of those rare moments of calm exhale...serenity of sigh.
Thank you for that me sweet butterfly sister.
