A frog in a tree
looks the same to me
as a toad beneath its rock.

And I haven't the art
to tell apart
a 'gator and a croc.

But I can, as a rule,
distinguish a fool
from anyone with sense.

Though on the face
there isn't a trace
of any difference.

sheer genius
on the face of it, anyway

love your playful presentation of a profound thought
