This is so true .... freedom lies in our thoughts.
Beautiful, dear Ethel. I just learned on Ringo's thread about the guitar that you sing, that's wonderful!

Ethel, how very true. I'm often awed by the very diverse collection of poets just on this site alone. I'm sure you meant this on a more universal scale. Thoughts well worth pondering dear lady.

ah, and I have found a sigh.

Don't mind me, I'm rambling.

Margherita, thank you, friend.
And, I don't sing as much now as I used to
because of my lung problems......kind of
takes the old air away. But I love to sing.
I've been in different gospel groups and we
sang at different Churches. While in school I
sang in a trio. We went to different community
and school functions to sing. Of course, I sing
around here all the time, almost. LOL

Heart Hugs,
Ethel

Anne, thank you. I'm amazed at the different
poets and ideas on this site, too. But, yeah,
I was thinking of universal opinions and ideas.

Oh, and thanks for the little     smilie. LOL
I guess you can tell that I love these little
things. They are so cute to me, and I've always
loved smilies.

Heart hugs, friend

Linda, I honestly didn't have me and Gary
in mind when I wrote this, but you are
absolutely right. We both think a lot alike...
especially where our love, our lives....
the present and the future are concerned.

Thank you for making me think of that.
Those are where my happiest thoughts are.
And, where I try to keep my mind.
Heart Hugs,
Ethel

(Hey, see the little "sigh" smilie that Anne
showed me? Isn't it cute?)

better than this one, too.

That's a good idea for the other one. I
wonder where Toerag is?

(sigh) Oh Ethel, you speak with such heart always, sweet friend, we all have different feelings and opinions and while I disagree with so manys in the recent woes in our world, I still respect them with love as that is what a peacekeeper does for freedom of speech and comfort! (big hugggssssss) I hope with all my heart soon you can sing with all your heart again as I wish I could be there to hear you sing, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ethel, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Bill,
I guess that's why we write romantic
poems a lot, huh?   Thank you for reading.

Noah,
Yeah, I'll be glad when I can sing
the way I want to again. I've been hoarse a lot
this past couple of weeks.  Thanks for replying

Nancy Lee,
we do think a lot alike, don't we? Thank
you, sweet friend, for reading. I wish I could
hear him sing.

Heart Hugs to you all,
Ethel
