I’ll take the wind into my blouse
The rain in deluge certain douse
I’ll drink the tears in thirst to know
Containment of the storms bestow

The purple calm of night’s serene
The golden dust of morn’s pristine
I’ll quake and tremble with the breeze
Commitment to myself of these

On your behalf I’ll brave the cold
The snow’s sweet peace my arms enfold
I’ll listen to the calls of seas
Complete the drown found on my knees

I’ll take the lash of lightning strikes
The churn of rivers straining dikes
I’ll smile the warmth of seasons please
Confirm myself with autumn’s breeze

I’ll hear your heart within my own
The seeds you sow, the sun I’ve shown
I’ll be a trellis for the vines
Come sit beside what dream defines

Of all the wonders you are of
I’ll speak my piece wrapped in this love
I’ll be the truth in every fire
Contented in but one desire

I will be of what I do love
The sea inside, the sky above
I’ll hold you close and let you know
Calmed in the folds to softly glow
