Healing Bleed

The bane of my existence
Is but a healing bleed
It is the carnage
That has germinated new seed

The mother of my heart
Set soothing hand to sorrow
Smoothing edges
Giving birth to an infant tomorrow

The ghost of childhood past
Is Shepard of the lost
Gathering and giving strength
Experience and wisdom it’s redeeming cost

The father of my armor
Is the shield of my protection
It is the inflexibility
That spawns new direction

The strain of living
Is the weight that causes laceration
Healing with tougher skin
Quelling inner desperation

The sisters of my spirit
Are the one’s that understand my tears
They have my back and hold my hand
Lending power to fight my fears

The last verse particularly touched me... for how I depend on them! *S*

This is almost triggering....
You've captured alot here, images and personalities, and dependances. I like it.

(big hugggsssssss) The bleeding is always the beginning of the healing process, and love is but the tourniquet that sustains the loss and makes strength out of all of it! (sigh) I send many angel hugs your way, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Susan, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
