~~****~~
Sometimes hurt and fear from our past
for us to think about is so bad
That we keep them deep down inside
leaving many things left unsaid

We try our best to write about
our past heartaches and trials
Sometimes seeming to be so large
in our minds they need to be in files

With each time we push them back
and to face things we attempt to refuse
The next time the opportunity to talk comes
it is much easier to make an excuse

The more time we decide to allow
the hurts and fears to stay deep inside
The longer we are certain to find
they will tend to stay to reside

If we want our minds and our hearts
to have the complete and needed healing
We need to face our past hurts and fears
and letting rise to the surface, be willing

Yes, Ethel, I believe in order to heal we need to deal. And that my friend, is not easy at all. We silly humans seem to hold onto a ton of baggage and it holds us down and keeps us from being truly happy and free.

(big hugggssssssss) In my experience, I find it is impossible to express all pain in one poem itself, probably not even in 50 poems! (sad sigh) I have many painful memories of mental and psychological abuse and my cousin Teia and her being usurped and Cameron and of seizures and nightmares I still can't decipher in their entirety and believe time and time again I will go back to them and see what my applied knowledge grants me while always aiming on the present! You speak of this so wisely, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ethel, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Ethel,

It takes lots of courage to do this, but I believe it extremely important when it keeps coming back, just as you have written so well. I also believe, with God, all things are possible.

Hugs, Pat

I'd wondered if they were connected... and feel so honored that I influenced this beauty even indirectly. *S*

The werk monster is strangling me... and yes, that's just an excuse I use to cover the fact that I'm an expert at avoidance. *S* But I will email you soon... (Ron's not the only one who can use that timetable. *G*)

Big hugs, sweet lady. *S*

Suthern, I understand your avoidance completely.
My daughter avoided telling me a lot of
things for twenty years. She told me just
about a year ago that he told her all those
years that I wouldn't believe her if she
did tell me. Most of what I know about it
even now is what her husband has told me.

Remember that if you ever want to just talk,
I'm just an e-mail away....and I'm a good
listener, too.

Many heart hugs to you sweet lady,
Ethel
